All the fun of the book fair
This weekend I exhibited at my first ever book fair in France. My home town - the 'petit cité du charactère' of St Savinien in Charente was hosting the inaugual 'Salon des Editeurs' for the whole of the Poitou-Charentes region.
I met some lovely french readers and a couple of ex-pat Brits based in the area. A convivial occasion uplifted by the free aperitif with Monsieur le Maire and a lovely free 3-course picnic lunch.
Next year the event will not take place on Mother's Day and will have more publicity I'm told. That's gotta be good for business!
